About Us
The Swan Inn is a charming, traditional village inn full of character – the ideal spot for a leisurely drink or a superb meal with family and friends, seven days a week. Our picturesque location in the beautiful village of Chiddingfold close to the South Downs and the A3. Our modern, comfortable rooms provide the ideal stop-over accommodation for those taking a break from London, tourists visiting the area or business customers. There’s free Wi-Fi and a large car park. We are also happy to host private parties or business events and will discuss your requirements with you to make sure your event runs smoothly, with the minimum of fuss for you.

Our name
The Swan Inn derives its name from the swans elegantly gliding on the village pond and nearby river. Like the swan you’ll see us glide effortlessly, beautifully and serenely, while out of view our legs are thrashing around like mad as we make every effort to get around and meet your needs.
Our garden
Wander through The Swan and you’ll soon find our idyllic back garden. Set over three levels it is a secret hideaway to enjoy glorious weather with a cool cocktail, a pint or enjoy lunch or dinner al fresco.

The White hart in Holybourne
Located at the heart of Holybourne which has fantastic community spirit that certainly spills into their local, also attracting guests from further afield looking for a cosy night away in our six well appointed guest rooms.
We provide a locally sourced menu with decadent dishes and absolutely favourites. The crème de la crème are our consistently outstanding steaks, we source from a local Surrey Farm and we cook them to perfection. Paired with our favourite, Chocolate Block - it's a crowd pleaser like no other.
With two open fires, The White Hart is the perfect setting for an indulgent country getaway, treating yourself to a bottle (or two!) of wine from our superbly curated wine list featuring owners' favourite, Meerlust Rubicon or local Cottonworth sparkling wine from Hampshire - perfect pairing with our favourite monkfish dish!
Our gorgeously green garden lends itself to the perfect summers evening and if you're thinking of hosting an event - we've got got all bases covered, all year round. We have an alfresco event space for large parties underneath a sprawling stretch tent with access to our outside bar - the perfect space for our legendary BRAAI party menu!
The Rose and Crown in Upper Farringdon
Located just minutes from the A31 near Farnham and Alton, The Rose & Crown is a traditional, and cosy village pub in the heart of Upper Farringdon, Hampshire. Set within the South Downs National Park, enjoying a backdrop of picturesque Hampshire countryside that is immersed in history. It is widely believed that the pub was originally built as an ale house in 1810 by Edward Knight, the brother of the celebrated novelist Jane Austen. Visit the Jane Austen Museum, just 2 miles down the road, in the neighbouring village of Chawton.Known as the ‘hidden gem of Alton’, enjoy freshly prepared, quality food, and a refreshing beer whilst taking in the unparalleled views of the Hampshire countryside.
